NOTICE

NEW PORTAL LAUNCH – Updated November 26, 2021

The new portal is coming on December 2, 2021! You will soon be able to save your permit applications to complete at your convenience in addition to other features to make applying online easier than ever. You will not need to do anything to access the new portal when it goes live later this year, as your existing username and password will still work.

If you have any questions or have any suggestions for making the new portal work better, feel free to contact us at permittech@mukilteowa.gov.

PERMIT APPLICATION REVIEW TIMES – Updated October 25, 2021

Permit Services is operating at a reduced staffing level. The City’s response time to permit-related inquiries/messages as well as time for the processing and issuance of permit applications will be impacted.

Customers may experience delays of up to several days in response to general messages and similar inquiries, including tree removal requests, so please plan accordingly. Expect delays that are several weeks beyond the City’s standard response times for review of permit applications, including submittals and resubmittals.

Thank you for your patience. We look forward to restoring our level of service as staffing returns to regular levels.

GENERAL INFORMATION

This portal allows you to apply for certain types of permits, upload submittals and plans, and make payments online.

Not all permit and license types can be applied for online. For permit types listed in the right column, we strongly recommend consulting with staff in advance of submitting an application, either at a free Pre-Application Meeting or by contacting us at permittech@mukilteowa.gov.
